This payday loan thing is exciting. I wonder what exactly he was trying to do? Typically, anyone who can prove they have income can get one. Now, it could have been that they would not give him as big of a loan as he wanted. I thought payday loans topped out at $500? The fees and interest on those is astronomical. Some places in the USA payday loans are illegal.
From what I read they typically require you to either sign a post dated check or give an authorization to pull a direct deposit out of your bank account. I suppose you could cancel the check or close the bank account. Then they would probably call you a bunch and eventually sell your debt to a collection agency. I bet if Rusty has any credit it is on the wrong side of the tracks. I would not be surprised to hear he is in lots of debt. No one has found any pending litigation for creditors suing him as far I know from what I have read on this thread.

there is technically no top out, they just authorize you for whatever amount based on your income and their interest they imagine you can (barely) afford to pay off. the keys are good payment history on other debt and regular income to support your hefty interest on repayment. i think this is his first time dipping his toe into this mess.
edit: i also imagine that he’s doing this because of his close proximity to legal brothels, he no longer has to wait nor take a horrific bus ride to go to them, so his addiction is in full force and he will get the money some kind of way.

Using payday loans to buy a girlfriend experience sounds like Greek tragedy levels of patheticness.
All of us have someone we can go to,at least one person. Those payday loans and title loans are illegal in my state.
Sorry if TMI but when I needed an $500 car repair, my buddy loaned it and I paid back in two weeks.
I'm guessing Russ has no one to ask.

so what are the bets? Either he went for the Payday Loan for emergency repairs to the Russmobile? Or he needed more than he had for his "Girlfriend Experience" Hooker Date? I'm kinda leaning towards Russ is now so desperate to get him his peepee sucked that he is taking out criminally oppressive loans.

Maybe the former lead to the later. Assuming the Russmobile is real, which I admit I didn't think it was, but I'm slowly coming around. He had his big date planned out but the car crapped out and so a chunk of his brothel fund went to the car instead. So Shit Lips needed cash quick or else no pee-pee sucking for him. Though this review was posted three days ago and it sounds like he just recently took out his loan, so maybe it's for something more current that we don't know about.

Being kissed in a way that helps with his disability is probably worth the usury loans and high interest to old mush mouthed Greer. If he is taking these loans out for that reason this will be a good story line.
