It's not so much that it's illegal for a woman to get an abortion as it is for a doctor to perform one. That might seem like an arbitrary distinction to some but to me it really clarifies the whole thing and makes it much more defensible.

I also see virtue in letting people make their mistakes which they're free to do in NY and the whole Pacific coast if they so choose so this seems like a win for everybody.

I just can't help but wonder what effect this is going to have over the next 10-15 years honestly. There are a lot of people/kids out there that need help as it is that don't have many resources. Hell, I knew people back in school that were borderline starving at home with their (young) siblings because their parents cared more about buying themselves make-up than providing for their kids.

If we are gonna make abortion more difficult, at the very least I hope something can be implemented alongside this change to help prevent the kids from being in a bad/unloving/harmful home(s).
