Call me fucking stupid but I do not really understand why his friends are turning on Bowblax. What reasons I can find seem like nothing burgers or small things. Am I missing something?

A person with BPD is just as hard to navigate socially as a drug addict or an alcoholic, and He has autistic freak outs even without a diagnosis, which he doesn't actually have much like Boogie who lied about cancer. He then asked Nick for money to pay his mortgage. He also then claimed that he thought he had BPD because of his girlfriend. There is more talk about it in the Commentary Community thread.
TL;DR Bowblax jumped the gun on having BPD, but might as well have either of the BPD's and extreme autism and his friends aren't fucking him, so have no obligation to cater to his histrionics.

TL;DR is that people got sick of his shit, ie. trying to start smear campaign on people/lying about people and then unironically going "i have autism pls understand".
He recently upgraded the autism diagnosis with manic depressive + BPD thinking that it would let him get away with more shit, but it did not. Ultimately yes, its a nothing burger.
