He's acting like teaching children that they can change their sex (which is 1. wrong and 2. unheard of in the west since around 7-10 years ago) is the same thing as a system of belief that has been around for 2000 years and has over a billion followers worldwide.

Nah, that’s just a weird looking dude. I don’t think most Aidens would be in good enough health to actually go join a military conflict and carry a pack like that. Also, remember that Aiden is/was quite a popular male name before it became associated with FtMs.

(Also, like MtF, FtMs rarely want to “prove their manhood” in a way that involves any real effort or even long-term action on their part. Proving their masculinity/femininity is more about surface level stuff like consumer goods and crude sexual stereotypes)

This is essentially the liberal version of the slippery slope argument. Prevent trooning kids, and we might as well open the death camps.


The UK is specifically not relitigating gay rights. In fact, I struggle to see where that is happening. Even the don't say gay bill didn't actually prevent you from discussing sexual orientation, it specified appropriate standards set by the state up to grade 3.

In fact, to me it doesn't seem like a pendulum swing at all, just trying to push back on the observed, absurd uptick of transitioning in the last few years.

In other words, his true feelings were never to transition and present as the opposite sex, but to mindfuck people and be a special snowflake. While I don't subscribe to troon ideology, that's a slap in the faces of trans people who don't pass despite their best efforts. What a bitch.

Real talk what do you think to think is the solution to the Troon problem.? They aren't women and creep on lesbians and straight men in a very predatory manner. But at the same time, I think it's evident from the data hormones and the masquerade does seem to make them less suicidal. And I haven't seen any evidence that alternative treatments work to the same degree. So do we tolerate them as long as they know their place?

There is no real solution that will make both sides happy. I can only see it crashing down when the number of detransitioners go up, until the trans community can’t treat them like a dirty secret anymore.

The solution is, not allowing them to change their sex on documents, use opposite sex's spaces, refer to them as their real gender in news and etc... Don't accommodate any of their demands and treat them proper, with you know, the good old happy pills, a lot of this can be solved with conventional treatments.
