Just spitballin here but it further indicates that the western/ukranian press is deeply unreliable, and so their narrative that Russia is bogged down after a failed coup de main attempt against Kiev is also likely unreliable and what is actually happening is the Russians are successfully locking down and encircling the bulk of Ukraine's trained army in the East and are in the process of dismantling it, after which point Ukraine will lose any strategic initiative or real capacity to effectively respond to Russian moves and they will be able to take as much of the country as they feel like
