Why does she always turn her subjects AWAY from the light source? I know using shadows can make for some interesting shots, but Judy isn’t talented enough to pull that off and just ends up hiding her clients features in the shadows.
Plus she cut the bunny ears off in the photo. Who took this, someone’s abuela who can’t use a camera?

I was going to say no bunny would lay claim to that attempt. There is a strict uniform. The actual body of the bunny outfit is corseted. And the cut above the boobs is all the same. There is moulding in the crotch area to give a smooth effect to also ensure there is never a crease or exposure when the bunny moves etc.
In general really dislike jude and this person photos of this lady. I just don't get what on earth is going on in judes photo. Is the lady squatting in a red telephone booth? Like the prostitutes call cards in them? Why is she postioned like that? Are we in a theatre back alley?
Genuinely I think photographing people is the hardest skill. Maybe just me. What made jude pick people?

I don't believe that photographing people is the hardest photography skill - I'd argue that wildlife photography is, because the fucking beasts just don't stay still and can't be repositioned for the best lighting/angles/etc. One just has to look at the bird thread to see some absolute shit photography because the damned fuckers burst into flight as soon as they see you, and that's if you're lucky enough to have your camera up and ready to shoot, otherwise you just miss it entirely. Then there are those magical fucks with awesome cameras who just hunker down into the grass and sit for hours and manage that perfect shot that makes us amateurs cry in envy and appreciation.
Note also that all of her cat pictures are of her cats either asleep or at rest. No action shots. No playing shots. No romping shots. With as much as she's complained in the past about Saturn knocking shit down or Orion being an outright terror, there should be plenty of opportunity for 'cat jumping through the air' or 'cats frolicking with each other' shots. But she doesn't have the eye for shots like that. She takes the laziest shots available, period, regardless of her subject.
People can be directed and positioned and will (generally) hold still until directed to move once again. It's not tough to line a person up with proper lighting and capture a nice photo. It's just that Judy has ZERO eye for what makes a good photo, tries artsy shit that she doesn't comprehend, and doesn't take the time or exude the effort necessary to capture intriguing (or even passably NICE) shots. Fuck, I've taken pictures of wild goblins (one of whom may own a Kiwifarms t-shirt and will be wearing it on Halloween... again) that are stellar compared to what our professional photographer with her expensive gear here has managed, no touch-up required.
She picked people because she can bilk money out of them. She can charge them for photo shoots. You can't charge a fucking bird or felines. And even if you could, I'd like to think birds and felines would have standards and would refuse to pay for her tired shitty photography.

Yup, I suspected that was a free photoshoot, thank you for confirming it. Honestly the red photos of the bunny lady look like snapshots from someone's iPhone...I can't believe she was using a PROFESSIONAL EXPENSIVE CAMERA to take those. I also find it odd that she seems to have chosen to blur parts of the woman's body. No way the bunny lady likes the pictures; she clearly feels bad for Jude and/or obligated to share them to her story and thank Jude since it was a freebie. This all makes more sense now why she didn't post them to her main page (aside from them being terrible).
Anyway, here's more of Jude's awful "photography" (seriously, as a "professional" photographer she should NOT be sharing such ugly snaps to even her Stories, even for fun. It makes no sense. Put some effort into your pictures even if people aren't paying you, Judy.

Good gracious this is truly awful. The distinction between hair, jacket and fencing is non existent. It's like a white scared face in a middle of a black screen. The black just turns the skin tone of this lady to an actual ghost. Which btw is the Cantonese slang for white people. They say what literally translates to "ghost man"

I couldn't find her full name anywhere on her website, and it looks like most of her attempts to promote her photography "business" are with her Jude Torres Facebook account.
