There was a recent TV show loosely based on the comic. 1 man remains, and transmen, but 0 transwomen. And it goes about as well as you expect with infighting, roving gangs and all the power plants out of service. But the show was shit and I only made it through about 3 episodes.

"Genderqueer: A Memoir" reminds me of something we read in college as part of an English course. It was a graphic novel about a woman's home-life when she was young, with a major part of it involving her father and his relationships with his underage male students. There was even a reproduction of one of the pictures, which depicted a young man of about seventeen. The art-style and focus on sexual themes make me wonder just how prevalent this kind of "story" is.

Fun Home is also being challenged when it shows up in school libraries. There's a lot of graphic oral sex (between adults) in it. All these books are clearly for adults, and they don't become books for children because they are about childhood. Librarians should understand this, but gotta get some age-inappropriate material in there.
