Yeah, it seems like there are quite a bit of convoys that are being deserted by Russian troops. Then again, that's what you see on Twitter and on the front page of r/combatfootage, so it's very likely biased towards the Ukie side.

When you pay attention to the Russian telegrams (e.g. @milinfolive, @voynareal, @istorijaoruzija, @ugolok_sitha), you realize that there is as much footage of Ukrainian vehicles getting abandoned and captured as there are Russian ones, and almost as much pictures of dead Ukie soldiers too

Despite this balance, my money is still on the Russians. Besides, if you're a country that finds itself giving troops to civilians in order to form militias, it's probably a sign that your professional military is not in good shape.

My guess is that Russian troops are FAR more disiplined when it comes to taking pictures as compared to Ukrainian civilians (and for the most part, Ukrainian civvies wont be taking pictures in areas where Russian forces are attacking, enganging in combat and advancing). And on top of that, even if Ukrainians do post it its likely to not end up in Russian circles. Personally I believe the Ukrainians are suffering much heavier losses than Russians on the ground, maybe 2-3 times as many. BUT even if these 6 (7?) abandoned Russian convoys are all of the convoys that have been abandoned (and they likely are) it still doesn't bode well. Why are they being abandoned? If supply and artillery convoys are coming under attack from Ukrainian troops to the point that they have to be abandoned, that's very serious. Though at least they may be able to recapture them later. Is there a president for this on other conflicts? Anything similar in ww2, or in Iraq and Egypt among Isreali and American forces?

I know, right? It seems like they would have done a better job designing the tank with all the obvious flaws that made it the premier tank since NINETEEN FUCKING EIGHTY FOUR!

Well, they still should have designed a better tank instead of the tank everyone rates their tanks against.

Vehicles being left abandoned usually are a result of a mechanical breakdown but it still doesn't explain why entire convoys are seemingly like that. Either way if they are abandoned or not, one must ask where did all the soldiers that were in them go?

The simplest explanation is that they advanced too far too fast, ran out of gas and decided to retreat rather than remain in the vehicles and be sitting ducks deep inside enemy territory.

Lots of people have said that migrants have no reason to love the countries they land into.
Like parasites as soon as you destroy their nest they run somewhere else.

There is a lot of schadendfreude in this situation,all the grandstanding and propaganda we have been fed does not hold up to the realities of the world.
