The end result of those countries joining is the expansion of NATO though. I’m not believing Russain lies I’m saying this was always going to happen and at no poijnt could Russia have stopped this short of never being the USSR in the first place.

What I am saying is that Russia did not need to stop anything. The idea of "NATO expansion" is ridiculous. Of course post-soviet countries joined NATO, why is everyone so surprised about that?
