I don't think it's really that complicated. Just assume they're a little bit bisexual. Like, I personally don't find dicks or dudes to be very sexy but you show me a hot dude or even an impressive dick and I can get it, you know, like I understand conceptually. So take a little bit of that and stick it on what's otherwise a hot woman who still has a vagina? I can see where things are going now. The main objection, for a person like this I assume, to troons wouldn't be that they have a dick as much as how much they're still like men in all the other ways. Futa gets around that by giving you an actual woman with a dick.

My main experience with futa, other than people posting it as jokes of course, is as mentioned how it's apparently horribly offensive to trans people.
