ahaha, I've been wanting to do this forever but haven't had the time.

Holy shit, that's great. The troons are doing it for us.

The idea is you develop an AI model and you feed it images paired with male or female. Over time, with more data and submissions, it'll get better at sexing the troons. (Though developing an AI model like this is fairly difficult.)

But still, the internet is chock full of butt ugly troons (as well as some troons who try a bit harder) spamming their terrible selfies everywhere. With a little bit of effort, one could probably put together a really good algorithm for clocking trannies.

(Though, and this would be interesting, I bet depending on how it's designed, it might start picking up on ancillary cues that the person's a tranny, like if they've got their face makeup'd to hell and back, but there's like doritos and mountain dew in the background, that might be what the algorithm picks up on to sex them as male.)

They're not usually trained specifically on selfies deliberately designed to trick the viewer (and therefore the algorithm). If you start from the beginning to detect liars, that's a more specialized problem.

This is the core of everything. The growth in trans ID'ing is entirely by fueled kinky but otherwise straight people fetishizing gay people and wholesale trying to appropriate the space and culture (with this working best for the straight men, naturally).
