I don't know of another holy book that has God playing chicken with the Devil in the form of a guy who genuinely did nothing wrong.

Job had everything taken away from him for no just reason, then lamented that while basically a corpse in his bed, and had to get told off by God himself before acknowledging his inability to criticize God's actions. Then everything he had was restored twice over. So even Job did wrong by doubting the justice of God's actions, in effect placing himself in God's position by critiquing how God doles out fortune and misfortune.

The really interesting thing about Job is that he's not identified as a Jew at all: he's from the land of Uz and was "the greatest of all the people of the East."

It's actually funnier than that. God basically told him that he had no idea what was really going on and to stop being a bitch. He literally said an ancient version of "grow some balls." I can't remember the exact wording, but it's hilarious.

Side note, I've listened to online scanners for several years now. Fire, police, etc. Most of the time it's boring but if you can catch it during a hot event it's really exciting and insightful. Also, very helpful for when it's 3 AM and you wake up to the sound of 50 kabillion sirens. I listened to a car chase once - I heard both the sirens outside and the deets over radio.
