Ignoring what Kyttie herself has said about it, judging just from how little she interacts with Tyla and refuses to take her anywhere, the outlook is not good.

It's probably less of her being immunocompromised and more that she's too lazy to get off her ass and take Tyla anywhere.

She's lying when she says housing is more than $2,780. I know what rental prices are like in my area, and I'm confident that Denton isn't going to be much different. Denton is likely to be cheaper than my area even, because reasons. A two bedroom apartment here would run about $1,200-1,800, depending on how nice you wanted the apartment to be. Deposit, security fees, etc, sure. Same price range for a house. She'd have better luck with a house because individual landlords are probably less likely to run credit/background checks.

And the belly aching about the weather? It's been in the 70s/80s all December. Tomorrow the high goes back up to mid 60s, another cold snap mid week, otherwise normal Texas winter Temps: lows in the 30s/40s, highs in the 50s/60s. It does get down to the 20s during a normal winter a lot, but the high then gets into the 40s and usually it's only that low for a couple days. Winters here are usually very nice (other than the wind). Almost always sunny too. (I fucking love Texas winter, too bad it's so short)

To be frank, she's the type that /should/ rent and should not own. She wouldn't be able to undertake the more pleasant side of home ownership - the constant maintenance and expenses. Gee, hardwood flooring damaged due to water seepage? You better repair that or pay for repairs! High winds tore of shingles? Get up there and put on new ones or pay someone to do it! Hail damage to the roof? You get to go repair it - or pay someone else to do it! Air conditioning clonked out? You go service it - or pay someone else to do it! Lawn? Go mow, motherfucker. Or pay someone else to do it.

Her wailing for housing is a huge no. She needs to just rent a room or do a short-term rental (which there are PLENTY of in her area) and move on from this 'let's stay in a hotel' option if it's truly costing her >$2K.

I've seen occasions where something like hangers (and I guess maybe some types of fresh groceries) aren't eligible for pickup but are otherwise eligible for delivery and available in store, but I mean that's like the rare exception, not the norm.

Pickup is great cause you don't have to worry about tipping or delivery fees or porch pirates. Walk in, grab your shit, get out.
